This morning we had a good meeting with the Ho Chi Minh Communist Union - who coordinates a number of youth groupings such as the Vietnam Youth Federation, Vietnam Student Association , Ho Chi Minh Pioneer Organisation and the Youth Union. In total they have a memebrship of 6.4 million. In the afternoon we visited the Reunification Palace- the place where South Vietnam was liberated on 30 april 1975. The images as well as a video show was very inspiring. Finally, in the evening we met the Ho Chi Ming City Council and met with the Deputy Mayor. I team fielded many challenging questions, which was answered by the deputy mayor.
